This was our first time in Turkey and our first impressions of the Turkad was the hotel itself looked dated. As you walked into the reception area grubby green carpet everywhere and really old furniture, but every effort was made to keep it clean and tidy. The friendliness of the hotel staff made up for this downfall. (They were talking of having it refurbed this year 2005). All rooms have a sea view so you won't be disappointed. The rooms were very hot and there was air conditioning that was payable locally which only came on at certain times. We settled for a fan which was cheaper and we could have it on all the time.
